Northampton Town Football Association
The Northampton Town Football Association was established in 1894. Initially responsible for all its own administration, disciplinary cases and general business, the Town Football Association was self-governing until 1952, when they started to conduct their own cup competitions. The NTFA includes representatives from football leagues across Northamptonshire and is currently under the leadership of the Association President Vic Wooding, Chairman Anthony Major and Honorary Treasurer Jeff Kitchener and General Secretary Wayne Chalmers. In 2019, the NTFA celebrated 125 years since its establishment and still conducts its own cup competitions today, with the NBC Cup being its oldest trophy which was first won by Northampton Town Football Club in 1894.
